14th Burgenland Round Table – Fun on the Alm

At the end of August, the 14th Burgenland Round Table took place in Schladming, an event to which the largest and most important Energy3000 partners are invited and offered a very exclusive space for personal exchange. The event took place under the motto “Almgaudi” – in the spirit of the customs and traditions that Energy3000 proudly embodies. Around 500 guests accepted the invitation to this year’s location: congress Schladming.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, the Burgenland Round Table kicked off its fourteenth round with the Alm Challenge. Our specialist partners and their Energy3000 sales representatives mastered a total of 15 stations in a team competition, which were divided between three locations: congress Schladming, Hotel Royer and Hotel Falkensteiner. In addition to stations where Energy3000’s top suppliers presented the company’s highlights and news in a fun way, exciting games such as darts, indoor rifle shooting and bowling were also on the agenda.

In the evening, our guests arrived at the congress for the gala dinner, where they presented themselves in their most beautiful cultural outfits – from lederhosen and dirndls to traditional Chinese attire. CEO Christian Bairhuber and Vice President Michael Bairhuber welcomed our partners with a very informative presentation on the current situation of the PV industry and the company in these difficult times. The management emphasized that Energy3000 is currently in a stable position and that nobody needs to be seriously concerned about the current situation.

The sponsors then had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the audience: Aerocompact, AIKO, BYD, DAS Solar, Huawei, LONGi, Sigenergy, SL Rack, SMA, SolaX, Tongwei and Trina. Host Energy3000 thanked its partners for their active support and concluded the first day of the event with the award ceremony for the Alm Challenge.

On Saturday, our premium sponsors Huawei, LONGi, Tongwei and Trina first had the opportunity to give our specialist partners a closer look at their company and its product range. Our guests then took the gondola up to the middle station of the Planai, where many different skill challenges awaited them. From cow milking to shooting rubber boots and throwing horseshoes – there was no shortage of fun on this day. Our specialist partners completed the challenges in the same groups as on day one. Our suppliers were also able to take a break from everyday life and mingle with the teams. The atmosphere gradually loosened up and finally the dancing, singing and partying to a colorful mix of music began.

The second gala evening was then traditionally dedicated to the premium partner award ceremony. Specialist partners from various countries had come to receive their personal awards. Afterwards, the group winners of the games were also announced on this evening.

Our evening events also gave us another opportunity to collect donations for the Red Noses by selling raffle tickets and holding an auction. On Saturday evening, the time had eventually come: the donation cheque for an incredible 36,000€ was handed over to the non-profit organization Rote Nasen.

The crowning finale on Sunday was a joint hike to the Sonnenalm, where the participants of the 14th Burgenland Round Table ended the weekend with delicious Kaiserschmarrn and a breathtaking panorama.
